The experience was all the more exciting for the actress as she was only 16 years of age at the time. Thus, while talking about her death in the aforementioned film, she revealed a piece of Eastwood advice the director threw at her. She said,

“I was like 16, and I had no idea what I was doing, It’s been 20 years, it’s probably okay to spoil where I die—He came over and he was giving a note about the scene, and he said to me, ‘That was really good. But this time just try not to hyperventilate because you’re dead.’”

Despite her indisputable talent, the actress found herself frequently overwhelmed by the emotions on the set, especially in the presence of such remarkably gifted individuals. This sense of being surrounded by extraordinary talents led her to become exceptionally cautious and self-aware and ultimately led her to take heavy breaths during the filming of the death scene.
