It hasn’t even been two months since Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was released, but it has already received a lot of praise and attention from its fans, as those who have played it absolutely loved the game and cannot wait for more content to arrive.
Luckily, Ubisoft agrees that more content is needed, as it recently released the game’s content roadmap, which teases a lot of new features, items, weapons, and even story content, which is something players are begging for.

So far, this roadmap hasn’t exactly teased a lot of specifics regarding future content for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, but from what has been shown, there are a few interesting updates coming in the future that may not be of interest to some players but would be very fun to try at least once.
The roadmap in question has been released on the official Twitter/X page for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and it breaks down roughly when we will be getting new content and what that new content will be.
One of the major pieces of information that players will be looking forward to is the tease of future story content that will be coming to the game, but sadly, we don’t even have a rough estimate of when that will be as the information that has been teased is just “later in 2024,” leaving us to assume that it most likely won’t release until the last few months of the year.
Its Not Just Story DLC That Will Be Coming to the Game, as We Will Also Get New Game Modes Too
Even though the announcement of a story DLC is a major deal, there are some minor content updates that will be coming over the next few months that will most likely draw a lot of attention from fans of the game.

One of the most interesting game modes that will be coming to the game is a permadeath system, which means that once you die, your game erases and you begin from the start, which can be a massive challenge even for experienced players.
At the same time as the Permadeaths release, there will also be another mode included within the update, which is a speed-run mode, which tasks players with completing the game as fast as they can.
A few months after this system is brought into the game, there will also be a new mode known as boss rush, which will likely be a mode focused solely on the bosses without the filler content in-between.
And finally, the last piece of content that will be coming to the game that has been teased by this roadmap is divine trials. This will bring new puzzles, platforms, and combat for players to try out. Along with all these new game modes, there will be new armor sets and amulets with each update.
