Dwayne Johnson has got to be one of the most famous celebrities in the world right now. His fame was limited to the wrestling audience during his time at the WWE, but he has since expanded his popularity beyond that crowd and has done so in the most impressive manner ever since the last decade.

Of course, he made his return to wrestling again in 2011 at WrestleManiaXXVII for over 8 years until his official retirement in 2019. One would wonder if he’d ever step into a ring again, and fans have also rooted for his debut in the UFC, but to no avail. And it seems like Dana White doesn’t want him either.

UFC President Dana White Is Chilled Out With Dwayne Johnson

Just to clear it out, there’s no bad blood between UFC President Dana White and Dwayne Johnson. In fact, the two are actually very good friends despite what fans may think.

Just last year only, White helped Johnson and did him a massive favor by helping the San Andreas star utilize the UFC Apex arena to hold the XFL Drafts. The XFL is a professional football league (although minor), commissioned by The Rock, of which the CEO is the former’s ex-wife, Dany Garcia.

UFC has also signed a promotional deal with the Black Adam star, the agreement making it mandatory that all UFC fighters wear his signature Under Armor sneakers while the promotion events go on.

Dana White has also openly endorsed Dwayne Johnson’s potential in the UFC. During an appearance on Pit Stops last year in September, White answered a question asking how well Johnson would do in the UFC-

“Oh, I think if ‘The Rock’ started training when he was a younger guy, he would have done really well.”

It’s still a mystery as to why The Rock is still not allowed to compete in the octagon ring, maybe White doesn’t want someone too popular in the MMA scene? Regardless, they’ve been nice to each other.

UFC President Sends A Message To Dwayne Johnson After Signing Logan Paul

Fans are still confused about Dana White having never mentioned any plans of getting Dwayne Johnson into the UFC. It would truly be a defining moment in Johnson’s career as he would add another field of work to his list of jobs he’s excelled in.

While Johnson’s debut may have been held back, White seems to have found someone else to fill the void that fans would want to be reserved for the Red Notice star in the UFC. A deal has now been struck between the UFC and Logan Paul.

Yes, you heard that right. The very same Paul brother who was involved in a massive controversy after making a goofy video while exploring a suicide forest in Japan, a stunt that the whole internet condemned.

Talking about the deal, the UFC’s official sports drink partner is now PRIME, a brand that comes out of the labor of Paul and another YouTuber by the name of KSI.

This only feeds the frustration among fans, as to why is White allowing an already controversial figure to make such huge deals while ignoring massive jackpots like Dwayne Johnson who could also help heavily promote the UFC’s popularity.

Dwayne Johnson starrer Black Adam is currently available for streaming on HBO Max.
