There was trouble in paradise for Flavin and Stallone when reportedly, the 54-year-old entrepreneur filed for divorce last year in 2022. But soon, the actor and the businesswoman decided to give one more chance to their 25 years of marriage.

After one month of filing for divorce, Flavin reconciled with the Creed actor. As Stallone’s marriage with Flavin was falling apart, he reportedly decided to give up on the tattoo that he got inked on him for her.

Sylvester Stallone’s 25 years of marriage was about to end when his wife Jennifer Flavin filed for a divorce last year. The 75-year-old actor tied the knot with Flavin on 17 May 1997. Before they got married, they had already welcomed their first child Sophia. When Flavin filed for a divorce, it was a shock for many people as no one expected Stallone and Flavin would decide to part ways. After filing for divorce, Flavin stated in an interview,

“I’m sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage, I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone. While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters. I ask for privacy for our family as we amicably move forward.”

As things were on the rocks, reportedly, Stallone decided to cover up the tattoo he got for his wife Flavin. The Rocky actor had Flavin’s face tattooed on his shoulder which he later wanted to turn into a tribute tattoo for his late dog Butkus. While talking about the tattoo, the 75-year-old actor’s publicist said,

“Mr. Stallone intended to refresh the tattoo image of his wife Jennifer; however, the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable.

Reportedly, the actor wasn’t happy with the way the tattoo turned out as he was expecting something more beautiful. Soon after, Stallone and his wife decided to reconcile.

After only one month of filing for divorce, the entrepreneur stated her desire to reconcile with her husband, leading many to believe that this was a promotional trick for their show.
