Starfield was released just last month and received an amazing response. While a lot of the usual Bethesda bugs never made it to this expensive title, the game still got called out for several other reasons, but still holds out as one of the best releases of the year, even more so on Xbox.

Over on the PlayStation camp, Final Fantasy 16 by Square Enix was released on the 22nd of June this year and got highly rated by both critics and fans alike. The game is a timed PlayStation 5 exclusive for now and remains a must-play title on the console.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage is another recent release that has topped the charts since release. Released earlier this month, Mirage brings back the parkour and stealth approach that the Assassin’s Creed franchise is known for.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been a stand-out exclusive to have come out on the Nintendo Switch this year. Touted as a remarkable sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the game has improved upon the previous title, which was also rated quite highly. While Nintendo looks forward to another exclusive later this year, the game will serve well to be a title that will be played beyond 2023.

Other amazing titles to have come out this year include Hogwarts Legacy, Forspoken, Forza Motorsport, and Dead Space remake by Electronic Arts. Suffice it to say this year has been brilliant for gamers on all consoles, and here’s what to expect from the remainder of the year.
