Valorant players recently stumbled upon a peculiar bug involving Cypher’s camera in the training range. When placing Cypher’s camera, the gear physics of the training robots malfunction, causing the gears to float oddly.
Although the post highlighting this bug was removed from Reddit’s r/VALORANT for not being in the designated Bug Megathread, the community found it highly entertaining. Riot Games is known for addressing bugs promptly, but this quirky issue might not be their top priority.
Most Valorant Bugs That Players Find Are Like This One
One of the users on the Valorant Reddit humorously noted, “That’s a weirdly specific bug…” while others took the opportunity to make jokes about the situation.
While not game-breaking bugs like this show the lighter side of game development where even unintended glitches can provide a good laugh. While this bug doesn’t impact competitive gameplay, it has caught the community’s attention and sparked a series of humorous reactions from fans.
If you place cypher cam down in the training grounds, the robots gear physics break lol

A more serious bug was recently found with Cypher and Clove’s ultimate abilities. Players noticed that Cypher’s ultimate could cancel Clove’s ultimate, “Not Dead Yet.” Players found that Cypher could cancel Clove’s ultimate by using his own ultimate ability. This interaction causes Clove’s death animation to glitch and her ultimate to disappear.
Riot Games has acknowledged this bug, promising a fix in an upcoming patch. Despite the bug’s potential impact on gameplay, the community has remained light-hearted, with many players jokingly lamenting Cypher’s newfound power.
As Clove is a new agent, not all bugs have been ironed out yet. Riot’s swift response reassured players that the team was on top of the issue.
What the hell happened? It looks like I got killed twice before I even revived. And yes, I lost my ult.

Cypher has been at the center of several bugs recently. In addition to the ultimate ability interaction, issues with his traps and the map Split led to temporary changes in competitive play.
Split was removed from the map pool to address these problems. His trips also continued to appear on the minimap after his death.
Valorant‘s upcoming console release has also got the community excited. The console beta which started last month ends soon, with a global release expected shortly after. Leaks suggest that the console version will be available globally on July 26, 2024.
Situations like this are common in live service games where new updates and characters can unintentionally introduce unforeseen problems. While Riot continues to work on balancing and bug fixes, players are left to enjoy these unexpected quirks.
