A dedicated Valorant fan has shared his views on the next agent in the game. In this Reddit post, the fan has shared the sequential order of all the agents that have been released since Killjoy.

So the first half of the list looks like this:

  • Killjoy: Sentinel
  • Skye: Initiator
  • Yoru: Duelist
  • Astra, Controller

So, according to this order, the next agent was supposed to be a Sentinel. However, we got Kay/O, who is an initiator. Although, after that, we got a Sentinel as Chamber. Then after that, this is how the list went on:

  • Neon: Duelist
  • Fade: Initiator
  • Harbor: Controller

This time too, Riot ditched us by not giving us a Sentinel after Harbor; instead, we got another initiator in the form of Gekko. And after that, the game got its last Sentinel, who was Deadlock. Till then, two of the agents have been released by Riot, and both of them were not Sentinels (ISO, Duelist, and Clove, Controller).

Now if you put all the agents in a sequence based on their roles, then the 26 agents are probably going to be sentients, and it will also even up the categories as well (7 duelists, 6 initiators, 6 controllers, and 6 sentients). However, it’s not sure if the upcoming agent is going to be a Sentinel or not, but it might be an alien.

Sentinels Are Hugely Important in Valorant

Duelists and initiators might look flamboyant with their flashy skills and movements. But the fact that Sentinels are the backbone of any match is truly undeniable. Sentinels are the main agents when it comes to defending a site or blocking the enemy team from retaking the site after planting.

Their effective utilities make it hard for the attacking teams to take entry at the defender sites. Also, they have certain abilities that can watch the flank, so no one can rotate or bacor example, Deadlock’s or Sage’s walls are highly effective in restricting opponents’ entry to a specific site for a limited period of time. Also, Cypher’s Tripwires or Killjoy’s Alarmbots are essential to watch the flank. The same goes for Deadlock’s

It has been over one year since a Sentinel was released (Deadlock in Episode 7, Act 1). Now, all the fans are rooting for an agent in this category.
