Right now, Riot is gearing up for a global console launch of Valorant. However, the game is in open beta right now and was supposed to be open for all the regions, but that’s not the case. Before the full release of the game, the company had to fix a lot of things.

And they are exactly doing that in Patch 9.02.
- There’s a new update in the console where certain abilities can be toggled, for example, Harbor’s High Tide and Phoenix’s Fire Wall.
- Icebox is joining the Competitive scene just like PCs.
- The surrender/remake feature is back as the glitch that caused losing the inputs has been fixed.
- Unbound inputs will now display correct controller bindings.
Now coming to PC players. This patch update is also a lifesaver for thousands of PC players.
- The Basic Training tutorial and The Range, which were available on console, are now available on PC as well.
- The glitch for which the team page was showing wrong background has been fixed.
- From now on, Combat Report will be visible during the Buy Phase by default, although it can be toggled.
- The visual in-game Combat Report is coming with a completely new look.
Seeing these awesome fixes and new updates, fans have become extremely happy.

One of the major issues the game was facing was the ever-increasing toxicity. However, this might be an end to that. In Patch 9.02, the players who engage in communication abuse will experience increased penalties, something much needed since the recent and long-standing controversies surrounding the game.
Talking about bug fixes on both platforms, the Neon bug has been resolved where her hitbox could slightly offset while sliding. Another persisting issue regarding the Ability HUD, which would continue into the deathcam, has also been fixed.
In Abyss, there were some spots where the Spike could get stuck on certain ledges outside the map. This issue is resolved as well. Treat for Omen mains as well in this map, as now they will no longer die teleporting in a specific spot in Mid Bottom. However sad day for Sunset fans, as you will no longer jump on the tall box in A Alley to make some uneven angles.
