Valorant is right now one of the most popular titles in the world, both in normal gaming and esports scenarios. This PvP shooter from Riot Games has won the hearts of players. Be it the exciting gameplay, the various characters to choose from, or the intricate maps, there are various reasons for this success.

However, as the grass is always greener on the other side, this 5v5 shooter too has some cons as well. If you leave a match multiple times but unintentionally, like due to an internet issue or something else, you can get yourself some serious banning. There is another aspect of the game that Riot should change ASAP.

Fan Wants One Change in Valorant

Recently, a dedicated fan took to Reddit and vented out frustration regarding one aspect of the game. They stated they were playing a competitive match with a three-player team as two of their teammates left the match early.

However, they tried to surrender the match afterward, but the rest of the teammates thought the match was still winnable with three players and didn’t want to surrender the match. As expected, they went on to lose nine consecutive rounds and, in the end, got defeated by a huge margin of 3-13. This is how disgusted this fan was:

Why am I supposed to just sit there and suffer through it or take an hour or more penalty per round I miss?

After listening to the player’s thoughts, it’s quite understandable why they’ve reacted like this. Now if they had tried exiting the match after everyone refused to surrender, then they would have to face a huge RR deduction along with a probable ban.

Although it’s not like that, they wouldn’t have lost their Elo rating after this massive loss. But getting defeated hopelessly on and on for nine straight rounds is quite traumatizing for serious players, for sure. However, the new Valorant bundle can make your stress from matches like these go away.

Valorant Does Have a Remake Option—Is It Any Good?

There is a Remake option in Valorant.
There is a Remake option in Valorant.

Valorant has a Remake option that you can trigger if one or more of your teammates have left the match or are deliberately throwing. Upon remaking, you won’t lose any RR, but the teammate who has left the match will face an RR deduction. However, there are certain criteria for this. If that teammate made a purchase in the buy phase or in the first round, only the match can go for a Remake.

If that player has made a minimum of one round and proceeds to another round, then even after they leave, the match won’t be eligible for a Remake. Also, the teammate needs to be random, or else you have to wait for your friend to rejoin the match. You cannot trigger this option in a 5-stack party as well.

The unavoidable situation of carrying on the match even when you are lacking teammates can be quite frustrating.

What’s your take on these circumstances? Should Riot add a feature to smoothen the process in these scenarios? Let us know your views in the comment section.
