Valorant is famous for its intricate maps, diverse agent roster, and team-based tactical gameplay. However, there is another thing that has made this game highly popular, and that is fascinating weapon skins.

Skins are one of the most beloved aspects of any game. This FPS title from Riot Games is not an exception either. With the likes of spectacular after-kill animations and unique graphics, the weapon skins in this game are on a whole new level. However, there are some complaints from fans, not regarding the skins but against the in-game store.

Recently, a Valorant fan has urged Riot to introduce some new sections in the in-game store. So, basically, Riot’s 5v5 shooter has two sections in the in-game store: one is the featured one, where mainly the latest bundle is showcased, and another is the 24-hour section, where random weapon skins refresh each day. Now, the main complaint about this fan is regarding the 24-hour slot.

It's might be time for some changes to the store and the 24 hours selection

He has been checking the store each day since November 2023 to see if his favorite Prelude to Chaos Vandal is there or not in the 24-hour section. But not a single time did that particular skin pop up in that slot. This fan has heard from somewhere that older skins are less likely to appear in this slot. But this theory got violated every time he saw other weapon skins from the same bundle at least 2 to 7 times in this particular time period, like the Prelude to Chaos Oprtaor, Stinger, and Shorty.

Not only from the same bundle, but he has also been seeing other older skins for the same weapon in this certain timeframe. For example, the Valiant Hero Ghost has popped not once but twice in a span of three days. Valorant‘s constant toxicity was already baffling the community, now the in-game store is doing the same.

Riot Should Add Some New Sections to Valorant’s Store

This fan is not the only one to be missing his favorite gun skin. Even I, myself, have been waiting for a long time for the Champions 2023 Vandal. That’s why this fan has a solution. He has stated that Riot should add two more sections in the in-game store, keeping the rest as it is like the 24-hour and featured sections.

These two sections are going to be a 12-hour section that will feature two skins, which means we will get to see two new skins every twelve hours. On the other hand, we will get a random bonus skin on Friday, which we will get to reveal, just like the Night Market flipping of cards, which will stay there for 48 hours to purchase. Not only that, the fan also demanded that this skin not be less than from the Premium Skin tier and also not from the same collection as the 24-hour section.

These new implementations could actually fulfill the wishes of thousands of Valorant fans like him, me, and many more. Also, adding these sections to the in-game store can actually increase the randomness and provide enough space for the company to showcase more skins.
