Valorant is one of the most popular titles in the world. Its intricate map setting, vast agent roster, and captivating tactical gameplay have won every player’s heart. However, there is one thing that made fans the most concerned over the game.
Day by day, the game’s toxicity has been growing rapidly. Constantly harsh behaviors toward new players, the never-ending fear of getting flamed if a minor mistake happens, and extremely explicit language—these have all become a constant part of this game.
Valorant’s Toxicity Is Intolerable Now

A dedicated Valorant fan has recently shared a post on Reddit expressing his thoughts about the ever-growing toxicity in the game. He has stated that he would never play the game if it wasn’t with his friends. This single statement is enough to bring light to the state of the game—that it’s unplayable with the randoms. The fan then went on to describe some of his disgusting experiences playing the game consecutively.
I absolutely hate this game because of the people that play it and I would never play it if it wasn’t for my friend.

In one game, he faced a Sage who was not doing well in the match, and when that player got some hard advice, he went on to mute the fan. That Sage then went with the same form, and at the end of the 14 rounds, he killed only one person.
Sentinels are responsible for watching flanks. But this Sage informed the player that someone was flanking in the final round, just five seconds before the enemy team backstabbed.
And that is the only comm that fan got from that player. Yes, bad days absolutely happen, but cutting the communication for the whole match simply adds to your bad performance. However, Riot can put an end to these kinds of players with a simple step.
In another scenario, the fan was chilling in Ascent with his duo partner, but somehow they got matched up with a random racist trio. Racism is a grave concern, and spitting a random racial slur can spoil anyone’s mood. That fan was not an exception, as he had to tolerate these racist players for another 10 rounds.
Valorant Is Now Infested with Throwers
![Throwing a match is the most annoying thing for teammates in Valorant.](https://fwmedia.fandomwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/09092005/fqfqf-1024x575.png)
In another match, the fan had to face an annoying thrower. This player initially admitted to playing as a controller, like Omen or Brimstone. However, at the very last second before the start of the match, he locked in Raze. The fan initially didn’t care much as he was in silver and he had played with three duelists many times.
After the match started, the player stated that he was not going to buy any guns except Classic, and he was not going to buy any utilities, shields, or guns for teammates. He even refused to play sites as he just sat on midway.
But the real chaos began when this annoying player started to follow the fan and shoot to reveal his and his teammates’ positions. Not only that, he even stopped his own teammates from defusing the spike by throwing satchels at them.
Even after sending reports to Riot, all this fan got from the company was some generic feedback. We hope Riot will take some steps asap to fight this ever-increasing toxicity. Let us know your opinion about this miserable state of Valorant in the comment section.
