However, there are still some aspects that need major improvements. For example, the game is infested with toxic players. Also, there are several game-breaking glitches and bugs. But there’s one serious aspect that the game needs to counter, which other titles are facing as well.

Recently, a dedicated Valorant fan shared a Reddit post where he stated the anti-cheat system of the game, Riot Vanguard, is the “best in the industry.”

According to him, Counter-Strike 2 is plagued by cheaters, be they Premier or Competitive, and its Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) is of no use. On the other hand, despite the presence of the BattlEye anti-cheat system, XDefiant is also infested with hackers and cheaters.

I might sound like a geek, but thanks Valorant for the best anti-cheat!

The fan has faced cheaters all over in other games despite having respective anti-cheat software. But in this Riot Games shooter, things are different. Because of Riot Vanguard, the fans didn’t encounter cheaters in the game. However, smurfs were there, but for that, anti-cheat systems really can’t do anything.

Riot Vanguard is a client that runs when the game is active, as well as the use of a kernel mode driver. Both the client and the driver are developed in-house, which means both game safety and personal device safety are always priorities. That’s why, without running this software, you cannot play the game.

The Riot Vanguard might take care of the cheaters, but what about the toxic players? Thank god, that the Patch 9.02 is here.

The Reality Is Something Else

On that post, another user commented on his experience of facing hackers in the game despite the presence of Riot Vanguard. Initially, the fan never encountered a single hacker too, but when he got to Diamond Lobbies, he started getting cheaters frequently, especially after the recent rank reset.

He has also shared a suspected player’s profile, where we can see that the player has just an average of 115 damage per round but an astounding win rate of 80%. Now, with 115 damage, a single enemy with even half a shield doesn’t get killed. Then how does he have that high win rate?

Actually, this is because that player got the help of his hacker duo. Although the profile of that hacker is not available on the tracking website, the fan faced this hacker duo one month ago, but their accounts are still active.

This is what has led many to believe that Riot Vanguard is not the best anti-cheat system in the gaming industry at this time, but it is still one of the most efficient.
