This news might shock some fans, as many wanted a Sentinel agent this time. It’s been really long since we got a Sentinel agent in the game (Deadlock in June 2023 in Episode 7 Act 1).

As per the past trends, this agent might be revealed before the VCT Champions 2024 Grand Final. Also, a few content creators and some fellow e-sports athletes might dig in with a new agent to showcase its abilities and gameplay in a showmatch.

This agent was already teased by another famous leaker named @ValorLeaks when he shared an image of a player card of the Episode 9 Act 1 battlepass. This player card is titled ‘In Bloom’ and contained a rose symbol on the metal wall behind with smaller roses hanging from the thorns.

This intriguing player card also connects some scenes from the Episode 9 Act 1 trailer where some metal vines creep through the ground, passing by some broken electronics. The leaker had also stated that the codename of this new agent is ‘SilverThumb.’

Whenever a new agent is knocking at the door, fan speculations have always been on peak. This time is not an exception, as well as a fan believes that the upcoming agent is going to be an alien.

As per his theory, at the end of the Abyss trailer, there is a cryo chamber where an unknown creature might be preserved. It was also seen that its hands were moving.

On the other hand, we can see some metallic vines piercing through the ground in the Episode 9 trailer. Now those vines were present in some splash art for the new episode as well, but with a galaxy backdrop behind them. However, this backdrop doesn’t suit the current episode’s theme.

Also, there is an intriguing voice line of Skye in the Hourglass base: “These plants aren’t indigenous to our earth.” So, if you connect both the facts, then there are high chances that the 26th agent might well be an alien.
