One character whose reveal in the anime managed to disappoint fans was Dr. Vegapunk, the most intelligent man in the One Piece verse. The fans of the series took their opinions to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their dissatisfaction over his debut and even take shots at Eiichiro Oda.

Vegapunk’s anime debut failed to satisfy the fans

One of the most sought-after names in the series, Dr. Vegapunk, is the epicenter of the verse and plays a very pivotal role in Eiichiro Oda‘s magnum opus. Dr. Vegapunk was first mentioned by Koby in episode 315 and manga chapter 433.

Dr. Vegapunk is the chief scientist of the World Government and has consumed Nomi Nomi no Mi, which makes him unparalleled in the One Piece world in terms of smartness. He single-handedly made the Navy a force to be reckoned with.

His creations need no introduction, as he is the mind behind sea stones, Pacifistas, Seraphims, and many others.

Fans have been patiently waiting for the appearance of this renowned individual, and finally, he made his debut in the Egghead arc. However, instead of being a memorable moment, it turned out to be a very disappointing instance for the fans due to the terrible design.

The battle between these beasts is about to close, with Straw Hats’ next destination already being teased by Oda sensei. All the hints point out that it is Elbaf, the country of giants.
