Velma Outperforms The Last of Us

The spin-off TV series which was created by the makers to target adult audiences, represented Velma as a South Asian American. The series is a spin-off to the original long-running Scooby-Doo series, focusing on the character of Velma. The series was criticized for its Meta storyline and received an underwhelming rating of 1.3/10 from IMDb. The fact that the series did not feature Scooby-Doo has disappointed fans, who claim that the show has lost the essence of the original storyline. Despite this, the series managed to overtake critics’ acclaimed The Last of Us, on the TV’s most in-demand show list, and continues to maintain its high rating.
