And it looks like the wait is not going to be long, as the XXX actor has confirmed the release date for Fast X: Part II in a series of posts on his Instagram.

Vin Diesel Confirms The Release Date for Fast X: Part II

The Fast & Furious franchise has been running for more than two decades, and Fast X, which was released in May 2023, marked the 10th installment in the series. The fans love the franchise’s movies because of the high-octane action sequences, adrenaline-filled car chases, charismatic characters, star-studded cast, and most importantly, the theme of family and loyalty, which is loved by its viewers.

While initial reports stated that Fast & Furious 11 would end the franchise, Vin Diesel confirmed that Fast X will be a three-part finale, and after the end of the first part, the fate of numerous characters remains in a state of uncertainty. However, all the questions will be answered in Fast X: Part II, as the Saving Private Ryan actor has confirmed the release date for the next sequel on his Instagram, which is in less than 2 years.

The actor shared the release date of the next sequel through a series of post that refers to the last scene from Fast X.

Lastly, The Chronicles of Riddick actor shared a post with Jason Momoa, where they can be seen discussing a scene from the film. Vin Diesel once again mentioned the release date of the upcoming sequel, and wrote a brief note, appreciating his co-stars, and how Jason Momoa’s character became one of the most iconic characters in the Fast & Furious franchise.

The release date of the sequel came as a cherry on top of the cake, as Dwayne Johnson ends his feud with his Fast & Furious co-stars and announced that he will return as Luke Hobbs.

Dwayne Johnson Ends Feud With Vin Diesel To Return To Fast & Furious

After watching the post-credits scene of Fast X, fans were jumping with joy as Dwayne Johnson was present, reprising his role of Luke Hobbs. The news was confirmed by the actor himself on Twitter when he shared a video of him announcing that he is returning to the franchise, and this time with a standalone movie that will act as a bridge to Fast X: Part II, featuring Jason Momoa as Dante Reyes.

In the same video, The People’s Champion explained that even though they had some differences, both of them have an “audience first” mentality, helping them to see the bigger picture.

“In terms of the why, I think when you despite us having our difference, me and Vin [Diesel], we’ve been brothers for like years and despite having our differences, when you lead with the idea of number one resolve. But then, also you think about the future, you think about the plans that are much bigger than ourselves, and those bigger plans are the bigger buildouts. Those bigger plans are the north star, as I would like to say.”

“The north star is always my guiding light in whatever endaevour or opportunity that I am in, that I’m passionate about, I always keep a north star in my clarity and in my obsession. The title, plot, and other cast members for Johnson’s standalone film remain classified, and it is not confirmed if the film will feature a cameo from Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto. Hence, fans must wait for the official announcements from the actors or the production unit.
