Miley Cyrus who rose to fame as a Disney star Hannah Montana, might have followed her father’s footsteps as a performer, but she believes her relationship with success is wildly different from that of her father’s. Although the renowned singer made headlines for her estranged relationship with her father, the 30-year-old seemed to be praising Billy Ray Cyrus in a TikTok video.

Recalling her father’s 1992 song, Achy Breaky Heart, which topped the music charts, Miley Cyrus began explaining the difference between her and her father’s relationship with success. “My dad grew up the opposite of me, so I think that’s where me and my dad’s relationship to fame and success is wildly different,” the pop icon shared.

Stating her connection with success, Cyrus mentioned, “him feeling loved by a big audience impacted him emotionally more than it ever could me.” She further added, “When he feels special or important it’s like healing a childhood wound”. Later reminiscing how she was brought up like a star, the 30-year-old reflected upon the emotional aspect, “I’ve always been made to feel like a star. It makes me emotional”.

Following her rise to fame as a global pop icon, Miley Cyrus made headlines for her wrecked relationship with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. However, on a recent note, as her ex-husband appears to be securing a name as Henry Cavill’s The Witcher replacement, Cyrus seems to be fixing her relationship with her father.

Apparently, during a 2011 interview with GQ, Ray Cyrus claimed, Disney Channel’s Hannah Montanathe damn show destroyed my family”. Although the show launched Miley Cyrus to fame, her father claimed, “I’d erase it all in a second if I could”. 

Nonetheless, after years of not seeing eye-to-eye, the Flowers singer made a clear attempt at fixing her bond with her estranged father.
