WandaVision: Disney+ Datamine Confirms Thanksgiving Premiere

Disney+ released the first trailer for their upcoming show WandaVision a few days ago. The trailer is already cooking up quite a storm, Subtle nods to Marvel Comic Book elements like the House of M story arc and the arrival of a New potential Captain Marvel could be seen in the trailer. While the show has everybody hyped, there has been no official release date for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe web series. It turns out there might be some information that has been leaked on that matter. No official WandaVision release date other than the “Late 2020” update and the “Fall” trailer were known.

Until somebody dived into the Disney+ Datamine and scoured through scores of data points to give us the answer.

A prominent website confirms that the Disney+ source code holds the key to revealing the actual release date for WandaVision. The release date for the new show will probably be set for Friday on the 27th of November. This means the show will have a perfect Thanksgiving weekend release date.

You can thank Edward Rose of Murphy’s Multi-Verse for this. For days, he sifted through the massive library of Disney+ data for finding out the actual release date for WandaVision. On the 18th of September, Disney+ updated its landing page. The source code for the site was also inadvertently updated, revealing peculiar line. The line stated “releaseDate’:’2020-11-27”. WandaVision is set for release within the same time window. And this is why there is some massive speculation on the show being released on the very date.

A similar pattern was visible for the release date of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The date for the show was set for December 31, 2021. The Loki Series in the works, starring Tom Hiddleston as the titular character, has a release slate within the 2021 time frame. The actual release date for Like is listed as “null”.

We would like to state that this is all just speculation at the moment. It is because that is the best we can do right now. Considering the popularity of WandaVision, it stands to reason to believe Disney+ is keeping everything tight-lipped.

WandaVision stars the characters of Scarlet Witch and Vision s the eponymous leads of the web-series. Scarlet Witch will be played by Elizabeth Olsen while Paul Bettany reprises the role of Vision for the show. Kat Dennings plays Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Kathryn Hahn will be reportedly playing the role of Agatha Harkness for WandaVision. The show is rumored to take cues from Multiple acclaimed Marvel comic book story lines with chief emphasis being on the House of M arc.

The official synopsis for the upcoming Show set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe is:
