The excitement for the Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is over the roof as the game’s release date is approaching (September 9th). Saber Interactive recently released a trailer showcasing the game’s vast weapon arsenal and improved graphics.
The gameplay trailer not only showcases various types of weapons, from melee to range, but also some of the brutal yet amazing finishing moves, which will make sure to excite the players during the battle. Players can’t wait to get their hands on the game.
Space Marine 2’s Gameplay Trailer Building Up More Excitement
Space Marine 2, with its recent release of the gameplay trailer, revealed an arsenal of devastating melee and ranged weapons that will make all the Warhammer 40K fans even more excited. This trailer with its hordes of enemies brought back the nostalgia and also showcased the transformation of the series from its predecessor Space Marine, released in 2011.
After seeing the trailer, players were super excited and couldn’t wait to try out all the weaponry in the game, especially the special and heavy weapons. Another highlighting feature was the brutal, yet cinematic, executions players can perform on enemies (with melee weapons).
The game will feature a seamless transition between melee and range attack, allowing players to choose whatever style they want to play with. This not only gives them more options in battle, diversifying the content but also helps when players run out of ammunition.
Players will also be able to change their weapons in the middle of the war if they come across the Weapon Racks (spread across the battlefield alongside Ammo Crates).

Graphically, Space Marine 2 looks like a feast to the eyes as the level of detail present in the environments is staggering. It looks like Saber Interactive was able to capture the aesthetic of the Warhammer 40K universe.
Player Expectations for Space Marine 2 Are Reaching New Heights
With the previous gameplay trailer and now the arsenal trailer that showcased new weaponry, enhanced graphics, and strategic depth, it looks like Space Marine 2 is going to be a must-play game for fans of the franchise and also the newcomers.
Saber Interactive has been fairly active in showing its commitment to the franchise. The studio is not only trying to honor the series by taking inspiration from the previous games and books, but also trying to showcase its talent by innovating the game and redefining the whole franchise in the process.
