If you’re following the cast on their Instagrams, you can see how close their bond is, and of course, that results in some hilarious TikToks. Emily Rudd and Iñaki Godoy hop on the “If you dance, I’ll dance” trend together in costume on the set of Season 2. Their playful bond is what makes their on-screen chemistry so strong.

Nami and Luffy have a brother-sister relationship throughout the series, starting strong with Luffy’s defeat of Arlong and freeing Nami from his clutches. The live-action adaptation nailed the Arlong Park Arc perfectly.

The emotional performances by Emily Rudd and Iñaki Godoy are on par with the original scenes from the anime and manga. It’s no wonder the actors have subsequently become close. Their friendship is very similar to a brother-sister one. They bring new humor to the set of One Piece live-action that can never be replicated. It’s so infectious, that even fans gained it.

Iñaki Godoy is the perfect choice for Luffy with his carefree spirit, and while Emily Rudd portrays a much more serious Nami, the actress has a sense of wit you can’t help but laugh at. She can convince pretty much anyone to do embarrassing acts if she gets Godoy to twerk. Maybe we’ll see Kureha’s actress, Katey Sagal, do a TikTok.

The two consistently hang out outside of their shooting schedules for One Piece but clearly, shooting Season 2 has given them more than enough time to create chaos. They appear to be on a set for Season 2, with Godoy in his full Luffy costume and Rudd in her Nami wig but otherwise in a bathrobe. They start by twerking together and then Godoy becomes sillier. This perfectly captures Nami and Luffy’s dynamic.

As Season 2 of One Piece is around the corner, fans can look forward to more announcements and funny TikToks like this. We hope to see the initial 5 Straw Hats engage with the new cast, such as Charithra Chandran who will play Nefertari Vivi. While we don’t have a lot of news on which arcs will be covered in the upcoming season, there’s no denying it’s going to be a grand adventure. Everyone is eagerly waiting for one more Straw Hat.

A certain Zoan Fruit user has been kept a secret for a while. The doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates, Tony Tony Chopper, hasn’t been confirmed yet. We don’t know if it’s fully CGI or if they will hire a child actor and use prosthetics. Meanwhile, his pseudo-parents and mentors, Dr Kureha and Dr Hiriluk have been confirmed, Katey Sagal and Mark Hareluk. So far, every casting has exceeded fan expectations greatly and surely Chopper will be done justice.

One Piece is available on Crunchyroll and One Piece live-action is available on Netflix.
