Taking to X (Twitter), Conley refused to take the sole credit for its success and highlighted the collective effort that went into making the show. He also stated that much like the X-Men training in the Danger Room to prepare for battles, they also worked together to resolve any potential issue.

“The thing about X-men 97 is, it’s the truest example team effort. I refuse to take any singular credit for anything on this show because we all were in the Danger Room together.”

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has established itself as a dominant force over the past decade, it’s rare for Marvel filmmakers like Conley to make such inclusive statements. Though he didn’t specify individually, Conley acknowledged the entire team’s contributions, including often overlooked VFX and sound professionals, a gesture that resonated with fans.

Such camaraderie among creators could serve as a model for highly anticipated projects like Avengers: Secret Wars. By embracing a collaborative team effort and recognizing the importance of collective contributions rather than singular achievements, the studio could foster a culture conducive to success.
