Popular footballers and athletes aren’t the only ones mourning Pelé’s devastating loss. Hollywood celebrities and other such famous figures are also just as heartbroken over the icon’s demise.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell grieved the death of Brazil’s “hero” as she paid her respects to Pelé and his “loved ones.” Posting a series of pictures of Pelé on her official Instagram account, the 52-year-old wrote a beautiful caption lamenting the tragedy whilst simultaneously expressing her gratitude toward Pelé for his relentless determination and prolific career in football.

The World Unites to Grieve the Tragic Demise of Pelé

Renowned as one of the most epic sports figures, Pelé bestowed the game of football with his magic for almost as long as two decades. Delivering brilliant performance after performance, he became Santos’ top goalscorer of all time and led Brazil to the path of success in the game. By the end of his career, Pelé won a total of 3 FIFA World Cups with Brazil, the only footballer in history to have held that record.

The king of the game had been battling colon cancer since 2021 and had been admitted to the hospital for the last month. At the age of 82, Pelé died “due to multiple organ failures,” leaving the world shattered with agony in his wake.

Meanwhile, millions of fans have been shedding tears over his passing away ever since the news dropped.
