Chris Evans And Jessia Biel Had Planned A Future Together
Long before Chris Evans was paired with Marvel actress Scarlett Johansson or his The Gray Man co-star Ana de Armas, Evans had Jessica Biel. The American actress and Evans made a good pair as their relationship went on for 5 years during the early 2000s.
Although things ended eventually, the Knives Out actor had wanted a future with Jessica Biel when they were dating. Before ending their relationship in 2006, the couple gave some sneak peeks and plans for a future that they hoped would come true. According to various articles and interviews collected over the years, it seems that the pair even discussed the potential of marriage and having children together!
In an interview with Cosmopolitan back in 2005, Jessica Biel discussed her relationship with Chris Evans and talked about how it was all so romantic.
“When I turned 21, I actually awoke to find my bed covered in rose petals. In the middle of the night, he had pulled apart at least 24 roses in all different colors and sprinkled the petals everywhere. He’s definitely a keeper. When he comes home, I’ll have dinner ready. It’s old-fashioned and fun, and I feel kind of homemakery and great doing it.”
The Candy actress further continued that they had even discussed having children and marriage before it all went down the drain.
“We always talk about it. We both want to be married, and we both want to have children.”
Chris Evans had further commented upon how he loved working with Jessica Biel on the sets of Cellular wherein the couple actually played an on-screen couple.
Chris Evans Went From Off-Screen To On-Screen
Having starred together as an on-screen couple in 2004 for Cellular, Chris Evans and Jessica Biel had the time of their lives. In an interview with Boston Magazine, Evans seemed to recall the moments that he shared with Biel on the sets of the 2004 film.
“Any time you get to work with someone that you know, it’s gonna lend itself to the on-set relationship. You have to find a certain level of relaxation while you’re trying to perform, and any time you can lean on an existing relationship with someone, it’s only going to help.”
As both the actors moved on, Chris Evans is currently dating the Portuguese actor Alba Baptista while Jessica Biel married Justin Timberlake in 2012.
