Bill Damaschke’s Plans To Join WB
Warner Animation Group remained without any head representative after the departure of, the executive VP, Allison Abbate. It looks like the CEO of WB, David Zaslav is actively looking to fill the vacant top position. Warner Animation Group has produced the hit Lego series which has remained a commercial success. The most recent WAG production includes DC League of Super Pets. The former president of Skydance Media is rumored to take command of DCAU soon as the talks are in progress.
DCAU stands for DC Animated Universe which made a big impact on audiences through its first release of Batman: The Animated Universe in 1992. Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Animated Group are different arms of WB but the creative team of both entities works under the same umbrella of WB to create some of the best-animated productions. It should come as no surprise if Damaschke’s entry will impact the entire DCAU as a whole.
Keeping in mind the past experience of the hit filmmaker for animated movies, fans are optimistic that Damaschke’s arrival will bring positive changes and hopefully he will at least be able to maintain the legacy of DC in animated productions. Fans are excited by the positive news in the gloomy DCU.
