When Will Fans Get To Witness the Series Finale of The Boys?
Unfortunately, there’s bittersweet news for the viewers eagerly anticipating the next season of The Boys. Prime Video has yet to announce a release date for Season 5.
The show’s release pattern doesn’t help the case either, the first two seasons were a year apart, while the last two had a two-year gap. Showrunner Eric Kripke recently discussed filming plans, suggesting that Season 5 is likely to premiere in the summer or fall of 2026. Kripke disclosed to Variety in June 2024 that filming for Season 5 is scheduled from November 2024 to mid-2025. He also confirmed that the final season will consist of eight episodes. He said,
It’s not totally locked in yet but we are going to start shooting around mid-November. And I don’t know when it’ll premiere yet, but we’ll be shooting well into middle of ’25
