Actors often have to perform intimate scenes if and when the script demands. Usually, they have to resort to different means to save themselves from humiliation or make their co-stars comfortable. In the movie Catch Me If You Can, Jennifer Garner played a s*x worker and had numerous intimate scenes with her co-star Leonardo Di Caprio.

During such scenes, Garner revealed she took a lot of breath mints before shooting the kissing scenes.

“It was magical. We kissed a whole lot. It was only uncomfortable for the first couple of minutes. Then you’re just going for it, slobbering all over each other and saying, ‘Oh, you have something in your teeth.’ I went through a couple of tins of breath mints.”

On the other hand, Di Caprio described Garner as the perfect person to play the role.

“Jennifer was very nice. I think she was perfect for this role.” 

While The Last Thing He Told Me star was initially nervous about making out on screen with Leonardo Di Caprio, she didn’t let her nerves get the better of her. Both did an amazing job that made her short role too memorable.

The Oscar-winning actor revealed that Garner’s role was not present in the original script, but after going through Frank  Abagnale’s life, on whom the film is based, Di Caprio loved the incident so much that he rang up Steven Spielberg and begged him to have the character included just for that one scene.

However, at first, the scene and everything else went completely wrong. It wasn’t until the illustrious director took everything in his hand and flipped out the entire sequence including the lines. And thus, the memorable and iconic scenes between Jennifer Garner and Leonardo Di Caprio were created.
