Jennifer Aniston Did Not Blame Brad Pitt But She Was Annoyed At Angelina Jolie
Jennifer Aniston refrained from commenting on any infidelity rumors throughout the aftermath of her divorce from Brad Pitt. At the time of her divorce, there were public reactions with Team Jolie and Team Aniston t-shirts appearing all over the US. The Friends actress told the Hollywood Reporter that no one was to be blamed for their failed relationship. She just commented that “sometimes things happen”.
However, the Murder Mystery actress did get annoyed at certain comments made by Angelina Jolie around the time. The Derailed actress lashed out:
“I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.”
The Lara Croft actress was referring to the time when she and Pitt were shooting for the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith, a time when Pitt was still married to Aniston. Aniston felt that it was insensitive for the Gia actress to make such comments.
Jennifer Aniston Forgave Brad Pitt For His Mistakes
Jennifer Aniston is an active proponent of meditation and mental health and also practices Hatha yoga and Budokan karate. Therefore, it was not in the We’re the Millers actress’s nature to hold grudges against anyone. Aniston not only forgave Pitt, but she also fostered a cordial relationship with the Moneyball actor. The Wanderlust actress told Harpers Bazaar:
“[I’m] a forgiving person. I absolutely am. I think it’s extremely important to forgive. Otherwise, it just builds up like toxic waste. There’s nothing worse than holding a grudge. Listen, people can do unforgivable things, but you have to let it go and say, ‘Look, we’re all human beings. We make mistakes.’ To hold any kind of resentment is like taking rat poison and waiting for the rat to die.”
The Pitt and Jolie relationship also failed and the ex-couple is currently in a custody battle for their six children. Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston maintains a good relationship with Pitt, with some sources even suggesting that Pitt’s daughter has formed a bond with The Break-Up actress. Pitt is reportedly dating Ines de Ramon, while Aniston remains single and childless.
