Ed Piskor published a 5-page message denying allegations before his death
Ed Piskor has been accused by two different women of sexual assault, with one incident allegedly taking place while the accused was a minor. These women are artist Molly Dwyer (who alleges that Piskor tried to sue her when she was a minor), and Molly Wright, who was allegedly asked for oral s*x in exchange for help in the professional sphere.
Piskor had categorically denied these claims in an online statement that he published, just hours before the comics writer died by suicide. The statement was shared via his Facebook page, where the whole document is available for users to read.
Molly Dwyer brought forward her accusations first via Instagram posts, stories which disappeared after the first 24 hours. This was picked up by outlets, who then reported on the matter. In the following days, another artist would come forward with a similar allegation, saying that Piskor asked her for oral s*x in exchange for an agent’s number.
