Jada Smith And Will Smith Got Entangled Into A Scientology Scandal
Tom Cruise is one person whom Jada Smith still credits for helping her with self-doubts and making her accept compliments wholeheartedly. The present-day bold, expressive actress was once a work-in-progress until her Collateral co-star helped her overcome her negative thoughts.
But again, his friendship cost Jada Smith and her husband, Will Smith their peace of mind. The Girls Trip actress got into a long-standing feud with Leah Remini after she wrote an anecdote about the couple in her 2015 memoir, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.
After Remini’s two explosive interviews, rumors aired that the Smiths too embraced Scientology. Denying Remini’s claims, Jda Smith admitted to being “hurt” by The King of Queens star’s claims. She said:
“It upset me because I didn’t understand why we had to be in your book, because we really didn’t have anything to do with this.

Jada Pinkett Smith isn’t just known for being one of the closest pals of Tom Cruise, but the Red Table Talk host was equally close to his ex-wife, Katie Holmes. She once defended Holmes by declaring that it was Holmes who ran the show. The Angel Has Fallen actress famously said:
“I met Kate through Tom – I didn’t know her before Tom. I think everybody has this image: Poor little Kate, she doesn’t have the strength to take care of herself.
People don’t know that behind all that grace is a tiger. I’ve witnessed it! I’ve had conversations with Kate personally where the tigress comes out of her, that fight.”
Being the ex-couple’s oldest pals, the Smiths once shared an incident where Katie Holmes commented, and that was the moment Pinkett Smith told Will Smith, “You know what? I can ride with her.” The actress referred to Holmes as “extremely protective yet graceful”.
Not only this but on reports that Holmes was Tom Cruise’s prisoner, Jada Smith famously said:
“It burns my soul – I see her in the house with Tom; he doesn’t have that on her! It kills me. ‘Tom’s this monster and he’s got her chained up in the basement and he’s forcing Scientology down her throat’ – it’s bulls.”
The actress added, “Let me tell you: Kate ain’t no little wimpy kitty cat.” Jada Smith felt that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were a happy, strong family, but again, it’s Scientology that caused all the hurt in the world, and even Jada Pinkett Smith can deny that! Also, Tom Cruise wasn’t there for the Smiths during the infamous Oscar slap scandal.
