Theron believes it is “a classic case of the media pitting two people against each other” syndrome, which Hollywood dreadfully suffers from. She said,
“Yes, 100 percent,—I don’t know her very well. I know her from events, but she’s always so lovely.– We really don’t know each other. We’re not friends or hang out, but she’s never been nothing but gracious and lovely and warm.”
Theron went on to disclose that not only are the two actresses not personally acquainted, but they also maintain a cordial relationship whenever they happen to cross paths. Contrary to the ongoing media speculation about tension between them, Theron’s revelation therefore successfully dispelled any notions of a feud. But on the other hand, turns out that Seth Rogan, who also was a guest at the talk show along with the actress, has a feud with the Maleficent actress as he jokingly put it,
“Me and her f**king hate each other, though.”
Amidst all the jokes and banter during the conversation, this particular exchange successfully quashed the rumors and debunked any other potential scenarios that could run out of muck.
