Alan Ritchson’s show, Reacher, produced by Amazon Studios, has become quite popular with all sections of the audience. However, a vocal section of the audience seems to have taken a shine to the show for the lack of what they term ‘woke content’, praising the show for not ‘pandering’ to its audience.

Given that Ritchson is very vocal about his faith, and while that does not automatically put him on the right or the left, the former was under the impression that the actor was, in fact, a conservative. However, an image has surfaced from Ritchson’s past, that has caused some confusion for his fandom on the right.

A multitude of those on the Left have taken to X to praise Ritchson for his selection of apparel, lamenting that such a statement has become a factor in partisan politics. Support has poured out on X, as the image has received widespread praise from the Left, projecting an image contrary to what the Right had thought about the Reacher actor.

However, despite the right wing’s love for the actor, the Titans alum has repeatedly taken to the Left, and spoken out against issues such as hate speech on X, a move famously associated with Liberals, as Elon Musk took over the platform.

Alan Ritchson has spoken out about his politics

Alan Ritchson is one of the few actors who speaks his mind when it comes to his politics. The Reacher alum can be found on his Instagram, posting videos about what he denounces and what he believes in. The actor’s Instagram can serve as a pretty good representation of what the actor believes politically.

While routinely posting about church and bible verses, the actor has also published a video denouncing the “white Christian nationalist republican movement”. The actor also quit X (formerly Twitter) after Elon Musk came into it as the new owner, talking about the problems with hate speech that had allegedly infiltrated the platform. The actor also comes from a military family, having a father who was a Chief Master Sergeant in the US Air Force.

Essentially speaking, Alan Ritchson does not fit neatly into the Left or the Right, being a centrist if anything at all. He is true to his faith, comes from a military family, while also denouncing hate speech, balancing the two aspects of the political spectrum. It is almost as if the actor could not be less bothered with belonging to one group or the other, rather focusing on staying true to what he believes and what he thinks is important.
