John Wick may be returning with Chapter 5 despite the ending of the previous installment showing Keanu Reeves’ hero succumbing to death. There had been news about a possible fifth movie following the release of the highly acclaimed fourth film.
Now, with the potential of John Wick returning to the big screen, fans expect to see one professional Olympic champ in the movie. This was after the official social media page of the film shared an image of the Turkish sharpshooter Yusuf Dikeç.
Fans Demand Olympics’ Yusuf Dikeç To Appear In The Next John Wick Movie
The Twitter page of John Wick: Chapter 4 joined in on the trend involving a viral athlete who charmed the public with his effortless look at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Yusuf Dikeç is a 51-year-old sharpshooter who was captured aiming at his target while his left hand rests inside his pocket.
What’s more intriguing about this Olympic champ is that he chose not to wear a lot of protective gear. Others sported fancy large ear protectors and even visors or blinders to help their eyes with focus and precision. He only wore a pair of regular glasses and yellow earplugs.
With such uncomplicated preparation, he took home the silver medal for the 10-meter air pistol shooting event. The win was Turkey’s first-ever medal in an Olympic shooting game, as per NBC News.
In a report from Euro News, Dikeç told the Turkish media: “I did not need special equipment. I’m a natural, a natural shooter.” He also said in another statement that “success doesn’t come with your hands in your pockets.”

A cameo scene with Dikeç would be an epic sight to behold. Perhaps the studio could work around that concept for Chapter 5.
Updates On John Wick: Chapter 5
Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chair Joe Drake previously shared in an interview with ComicBook that John Wick: Chapter 5 is in the works together with other spinoffs.
On the Wick side, we got multiple spin-offs and Wick Five. We started to work on [it] right when the writer’s strike started and we’ve gotten back to work as soon as it ended.
This sounds pretty much like a hopeful update, although there has been scarce detail about its plot and cast. Keanu Reeves’ return is also uncertain at this point given the ending in Chapter 4, though he said he would willingly reprise his role if there’s a good story.
It remains to be seen where the future takes the John Wick franchise, but with its immense success and popularity, it might find a way. Fans are absolutely down to see a showdown between Reeves and Dikeç.
