The Star Wars shows have helped a lot of names to make it big in the industry. The Bo-Katan fame is also one of them. But Katee Sackhoff also had her struggles. During a live Q&A session on her YouTube channel, the star shared a precious moment of her life when she and her own family were forced to live on her mother’s salary of $2500 per month.

“I absolutely know what it looks like to stick with something because of finances. My mom was a teacher. She made — with a Master’s degree — $30,000 a year. She taught for 34 years, and she supported our entire family with that money until my dad started building more houses.”

The conversation rose when the Riddick actress started discussing on dream job and the one that we have to do. She took the real-life example of her mom and stated that she and her family is proud of her mother who took the right decision of taking a path that was more stable than the other.

“So had my mom decided to reinvent herself, we would have been up sh*t creek. So I do understand that. And we are so blessed that my mother stayed that course because it provided us with the stability for my father to follow his dream and to do what he wanted to do.”

Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan Kryze was a major character in this season of the Pedro Pascal series. While the rising prominence of Sackhoff over Pascal’s Din Djarin divided the fan base, it sealed an important future for the character. Interestingly, the ending of season 3 also felt like a concluding series finale to many fans. This factor summed up with Pascal leaving The Mandalorian series might also lead to Katee Sackhoff taking over the captain’s seat for the fourth season.

While primary information about this project is also yet to be revealed, it can be hoped that the heads at Lucasfilm might have thought something big for Bo-Katan Kryze.
