Kaley Cuoco Was Almost Cast as a Robot

Kaley Cuoco was connected to the industry from a very young age, even before her teenage years. Hence her first role also came quite early, as she played the role of young Karin Carter in Virtuosity, an action thriller movie from the mid-90s. By the time she was recognized within the industry, Cuoco had appeared in several movies and TV shows and spent the entirety of her teenage days performing small roles. Her cast in The Big Bang Theory was one of the best things that has ever happened to her and the show has also boomed because of her unique acting talent.

Not many are aware of the fact that Kaley Cuoco was almost left out of the cast of the show. The co-creator of TBBT, Chuck Lorre once said in an interview that before the start of the show, he was sure that Penny’s character was a robot.

“There was a moment where I thought perhaps the female character was an android that the guys built. We wrote a test scene and had a couple actors read the scene for us. And they were halfway through the scene when I went, ‘Never mind.'”

They wrote a test scene for an episode where the four main characters were performing a scene and he thought that Penny was a robot that the guys built. But that misunderstanding was soon cleared as the show went on to be one of the best TV shows ever made. The viewers and admirers of the show were very happy with how it turned out.

The Big Bang Theory’s  Exceptional Hollywood Run

The Big Bang Theory ran for twelve seasons and was declared one of the best TV shows of this generation by many fans and followers of the show. Although the characters had a very good ending, ending with marriage or settling down, Raj was still out there finding his soulmate. The show became one of the highest-rated shows portraying comedy, however, the show ran for a little too long as many lost their interest in the show midway through the seasons. Nevertheless, TBBT won numerous awards and nominations during its twelve seasons. Some are the Primetime Emmy Awards, Critics Choice Awards, the Golden Globes, and many others.
