Being a celebrity ensures you get subjected to a torrent of personal and uncomfortable questions, often focused around one’s appearance. Jennifer Lopez is many things, a wonderful actor, a charming singer and performer, and a beautiful person. But she is often subjected to questions that would make a normal person screech in disgust.
And so it happened, a few years back on the show Chatty Man, where the interviewer proceeded to ask her uncomfortable question after question. While Lopez looked visibly uncomfortable, she was nice enough to answer politely.
Jennifer Lopez Gets Asked Bizzare Questions By Interviewer
Jennifer Lopez, who is now married to Ben Affleck, is known for her excellent workout routine and perfect figure. So when she went on Alan Carr’s Chatty Man for promoting her Love album, she faced quite a lot of questions regarding her, well, bum!
Carr asked the visibly surprised Lopez,
“Were you born with that lovely bum?”
While Lopez shrugged and responded with a ‘What?’, Carr continued asking if she did any special exercises or routines to stay in shape and maintain that bum of hers. Lopez responded that while she did exercise, her motive was not to get a bigger bottom. If this wasn’t enough, Carr continued joking,
“I just want a nice bum so that people walking down the street go, ‘Oh my God, look at that as*.”
Responding with a ‘you are crazy!’, Lopez was amused by how interested Carr looked to get a bum like her. Talk about being weird just to get a few rile comments.
Alan Carr’s Weird Comments About Jennifer Lopez
While Jennifer Lopez is not new to having uncomfortable and creepy comments made about her appearance, having such comments made right to her face is another kind of weird. Jennifer Lopez was visibly stunned and could not believe the audacity of Alan Carr in asking her uncomfortable questions about her behind. On the Chatty Man, Carr further asked her,
“Is it an urban myth that you insured your bum?”
Jennifer Lopez responded that it was a ridiculous urban myth from years ago, having originated in the UK. The myth was that the Let’s Get Loud singer had insured her bum for over a billion US dollars.
While most women would kill to have a body like Jennifer Lopez, it is high time that showbiz stops being obsessed with women’s bodies, making crude jokes just for a few laughs.
