Recently, the game creator whose “70% of my body is made up of movies” took to his X handle @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN to present his genuine reviews on this newest piece of masterwork from the 43-year-old director. And these reviews have truly garnered fans’ attention to the core.

Initially, Kojima shared his experience of watching the movie:

“Watched ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ in IMAX. I liked the reboot trilogy that began in 2011. This film is a few centuries after that, with many scenes overlapping with the original from 1968.”

Then he jumped into the true matter of the film, sharing how immaculately it has delivered through its VFX, writing:

“It’s been more than a decade since the reboot, and while technology is advancing every day, the artists’ work is increasing too. Great work to the WETA team and everyone else who worked on the VFX!”

So, good VFX from the WETA team and everyone else along with a storyline that overlaps with the original one from the late 1960s? That sounds like sheer cinematic brilliance, no doubt about that.

But what’s more, is that this review, which makes it evident that Kojima is more than just amused by the movie, has truly caught fans’ fancy, erasing a majority of their doubts on whether to watch this new installment from Ball or not!

This is why his recent review of Ball’s most recent film has now made the movie a must-watch for a majority of the fans. This is evident from fans’ reaction to his review on X, which pretty much states they are now confident enough to watch the movie:
