Majors has also stated his problem and disappointment with how the inside of the industry works and called it a democracy as Moses Ingram was abused by many Star Wars fans.

Jonathan Majors Exposes Hollywood’s Systemic Racism

Moses Ingram who plays Reva Sevander aka the Third Sister who is hunting down Obi-Wan Kenobi has been receiving many racial slurs and online messages from Star Wars fans. She has also been receiving many bullying text messages in this advanced world where there is no place for racism. Jonathan Majors shared that he was heartbroken after his sister had to go through such tough times and supported her. Star Wars has also come to support her as they posted that no Star Wars fan will support this type of behavior.

“I think the arts, chiefly cinema, is a kind of democracy, because they can do whatever they want to do, in whatever building they want to do it in, but when we put it in a movie theater, they’re gonna have problems.”

Jonathan Majors shares that the Hollywood industry works very differently inside, they are good to the veteran actors and ignorant to the newer generations, especially people of color and race. He expresses his disappointment that his family and fellow actors have to go through such tough times in the industry and calls the cinema a kind of democracy, ruled by the favored people.

Jonathan Major’s Upcoming Introduction as Kang in MCU

The Creed III actor will be making his entrance very soon as Kang and it is rumored that the next couple of phases will cross the Infinity Saga and Endgame plot-wise. Though he first debuted in Loki as He Who Remains, he will be introduced in the upcoming Ant-Man movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as Kang the Conqueror as he is a variant. Unlike the previous phases, Kang will be the only supervillain in Phases 5 and 6, from the beginning movie to the end, Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.

“Hopefully, what we do with The Kang Dynasty; what we do in the MCU; what we do in these Adonis movies… Hopefully, they go, ‘That is now the pole star. That is what we’re aiming for now’. In the same way, I looked at Denzel [Washington] and Sidney Poitier and Philip Seymour Hoffman and Meryl Streep and Daniel Day-Lewis, and went, ’I’m going there.’”

Jonathan Majors shared that he will be the only “Big bad” the franchise will have this time around and aims high, as he wants to be compared to actors like Denzel Washington and Daniel Day-Lewis. The bar has already been set high as Thanos has set a new record for supervillains. But Jonathan Major’s Kang will have a major benefit over Thanos as he will have more screen time and will affect the universe more, will be explored more than the Titan.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released on 17 February 2022.
