Like many A-listers in the realm of showbiz, Brie Larson has kept her private life out of the public eye. Initially rising to prominence back in 2013, following her performance in Short Term 12, which garnered her critical acclaim, it didn’t take long for the Kong: Skull Island Star to make an impact in the entertainment industry. As in 2015, she earned herself an Oscar Win for Best Actress for Room and would go on to play one of the strongest Avengers in the MCU in 2019’s Captain Marvel.
But apart from scoring wins in the realm of cinema, the Endgame Star has also been in a handful of high-profile relationships throughout her Hollywood run, which dates back to the mid-2000s.
Each Celebrity Brie Larson Has Dated Since the Mid-2000s
Cody Linley
Known for playing Jake Ryan in the popular teen sitcom Hannah Montana, Cody Linley and Marvel Star Brie Larson started dating each other back in 2006. However, one of her early romantic endeavors didn’t last long, as they only dated for approximately a year before calling it quits in 2007.
John Patrick Amedori
Not long after parting ways with Cody Linley, The Marvels Star got romantically linked to musician John Patrick Amedori. But the duo eventually parted ways after four years of dating in 2012, and the reason behind their split-up remains undisclosed, as Larson never publically addressed their bond.
Alex Greenwald
One of Brie Larson’s most notable relationships was with actor and musician Alex Greenwald, the lead vocalist of the California rock band Phantom Planet. And even though the two called it quits right before their engagement in 2019 after six years of dating, they still maintained a close bond behind the curtains per People.
Elijah Allan-Blitz
The Oscar winner’s most recent relationship was with Emmy-winning filmmaker Elijah Allan-Blitz, which made headlines after they were spotted sharing an affectionate kiss back in 2019. But as of 2023, Larson confirmed her single status to Harper’s Bazaar, stating “I don’t have a partner. I don’t have a plan. I’m just completely open”.
Although it’s unclear when exactly the couple split up, reports claim that it was somewhere near early 2023. And while her dating life is at a standstill as of now, this isn’t the case for her Hollywood career, as with The Marvels debuting this week, it’ll be interesting to see if it can get the MCU back on track or not.
The Marvels will hit theatres on 10 November 2023.
