Josh Radnor tied the knot to Jordana Jacobs at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, New York. Considering the popularity of Radnor, who most recently featured in All Happy Families, the out-of-the-blue news of his marriage has left his die-hard fans surprised.
The 49-year-old took to Instagram to confirm the good news, accompanying it with a series of photos from the special day. The caption of the post read:
“I got married! Two weeks ago. In a *light* blizzard. It was an incredible overwhelming snowy bliss-filled weekend. So grateful to so many people I love for making the trip to @thesistersofcedarlakes to be with us. To @forgedinthenorth for the extraordinary pictures. But most of all to Jordana. I can’t believe my great good fortune that I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife.”
Ted’s journey in How I Met Your Mother was made eventful by his friends Lily, Marshall, Robin, and Barney. However, the pictures Radnor shared didn’t show any of his castmates.

Who Is Josh Radnor’s Wife, Jordana Jacobs
The ‘extraordinary’ woman has been in a romantic relationship with Radnor for nearly two years. Jacobs is a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Brooklyn.
As per The New York Times, the 36-year-old graduated from Tufts University and received a doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University, Brooklyn.
The About section of her website says she has trained at various other major hospitals, including Memorial Sloan Kettering and Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center, gaining experience working with a diverse range of patients.
Jacobs’ research primarily focuses on the relationship between death awareness and love. This allows her to counsel people and help them accept inevitable mortality, so that they may live and love more fully.
How Actor and Musician Josh Radnor Met His Wife
The actor and the doctor met at a sound meditation retreat in February 2022. During the weekend they met, Jacobs was healing from a broken relationship and headed into the retreat with an aim to be “guided by her heart.”
As soon as Radnor and Jacobs slid into each other’s DMs, the How I Met Your Mother star knew he had found his soulmate.
The voice inside his head supposedly said, “That’s her. That’s your woman.”
This started a constant flow of messages, with the pair sharing their thoughts, feelings, and insights. Nearly two years later, they ended up exchanging vows in front of 164 snow-soaked attendees during a snowy bliss-filled weekend.
