The Fantastic Four reboot is now a part of the MCU in the Multiverse Saga, which opens up opportunities for the fictional shared universe to bring the characters in new ways. While the casting details for Fantastic Four haven’t been officially announced yet, rumors are going around about the casting already. And, Stranger Things actor Joseph Quinn’s name has been semi-confirmed for a while now as Johnny Storm.
Johnny Storm is Sue’s younger brother. Interestingly, before portraying Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger, Chris Evans took on the character of Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch, in 20th Century Fox’s Fantastic Four (2005) and its sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007).
Joseph Quinn is the Top Pick to Replace Chris Evans as Johnny Storm in Fantastic Four Reboot
Though the role of Johnny Storm hasn’t been cast yet, and no one has signed on for it, Joseph Quinn is reportedly the top contender for it. Johnny Storm gets exposed to cosmic radiation during their mission and gains the power to turn into a fiery, plasma-like state.
Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four was originally set to come out on February 14, 2025, but now it’s been moved to May 2, 2025. It’ll be the second movie in Marvel’s Phase Six and the third part of its Multiverse Saga.
Matt Shakman, the director of WandaVision, has been confirmed as the director for Fantastic Four. Despite facing delays due to the WGA and SAG AFTRA strikes, the director told Collider that the movie is scheduled to start production in 2024.
Overall, fans are quite excited about the upcoming movie, but there are some mixed reactions about casting choices.
Marvel Fans Are Divided Over This Rmored Pick
It’s almost certain that Joseph Quinn will play the role of Johnny Storm. But it seems like fans can’t come on one path regarding him coming on board as Storm. However, he gets support from others as well.
Honestly, he's perfect casting. No complaints on him. Now just get rid of Pedro and this film might stand a chance….

Why do people hate him so much, MCU casting has rarely missed so let's give him a chance

What's with all of the hate comments. If you don't like him being cast in it then don't watch it, so simple. He's a great actor, you just don't like him because of "cringe fans". It's been nearly two years, get over it 🙄
