Kaley Cuoco’s boyfriend Tom Pelphrey opened up in an interview with W Magazine about the show The Big Bang Theory. The actor shared that he had not seen a single episode of Cuoco’s superhit show before they started dating.
The Ozark actor confessed,
“I hadn’t seen Kaley in anything. Before I met Kaley, I was living in upstate New York, on a dirt road, in the middle of the woods, without much Wi-Fi. She’s brought me into modern times.”

Tom Pelphrey did not know why his family referred to Kaley Cuoco as Penny
Iron Fist actor Tom Pelphrey recalled the incident when he first introduced the actress to his family and friends. He shared that someone in the group kept referring to her as Penny, which left him confused.
American Murderer actor said,
“My mom’s partner — who apparently was a Big Bang Theory fan — was there, and he kept calling her Penny,” he recalls. “I had no clue what was going on. So I pulled Kaley aside, like, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t understand what’s happening. Why does he keep calling you Penny?’ She’s like, ‘That’s my character in The Big Bang Theory.’ I was completely unaware. I’ve watched a few episodes with her since, and, obviously, she’s fantastic.”
Kaley Cuoco played girl-next-door Penny for 12 seasons of the sitcom The Big Bang Theory. It wrapped its record-setting, 279-episode run in the year 2019. She made a comeback to the franchise in 2020 when she did a surprise voice cameo on the spinoff show, Young Sheldon.
She has also worked on projects like The Flight Attendant, Harley Quinn, Based on a True Story, and others.
