When Will The Egghead Arc Be Animated?
The One Piece fandom is yet to recover from heavy doses of Gear 5. But they will soon lose all their drowsiness with the Egghead arc. The Egghead arc starts from chapter 1058 in the manga and is in its final stages. It will be animated from episode 1079 in the anime. One Piece will enter its 32nd story arc in the anime with this arc.
What Is The Plot of Egghead Arc?
It is difficult to mention the plot of Egghead arc without any spoilers. But it is possible thanks to the official plot of the Egghead arc by One Piece. The Official Plot says,
“After the successful Raid on Onigashima and releasing the Wano Country from its shackles, it’s time for the Straw Hats [to embark on] yet another magnificent adventure. This time the crew’s log pose takes them to a futuristic island called Egghead Island where things are unlike we have ever seen before.”
“Upon reaching the new island, the Straw Hats learn this is where Dr. Vegapunk lives. And they get caught up in chaos again that could shake the world and lead to a global war.”
Returning Characters and Solved Mysteries In Egghead Arc
There are several new characters introduced in the Egghead arc. It is not the end. The Egghead arc is one of the most important arcs since it solved several mysteries of the anime. Here are a few of the important sequences that will take place during its animation.
6. Dr. Vegapunk Will Come To Light
Since the beginning of One Piece, the name of Dr. Vegapunk has been heard several times, but no one knows about his true identity. The Egghead arc will see One Piece’s Albert Einstein coming to light since the Egghead island is his home. Dr. Vegapunk ate the Nomi Nomi no Mi Devil Fruit, which allows him to store every bit of information in his brain. As the amount of information increases, the size of his brain increases accordingly. Also, Dr. Vegapunk is shown to have a connection with Monkey D. Dragon.
5. Blackbeard Devil Fruits
Everyone knows that Marshall D. Teach, a.k.a. Blackbeard, can steal Devil fruits from others. After stealing Whitebeard’s Gura Gura no Mi, the Blackbeard Pirates are hunting to steal more Devil fruits for their crew members. 4. Jewelry Bonny’s Past
Jewelry Bonney is one of the twelve pirates from the Worst Generation. She is known to be a “big eater”, but the name of her Devil Fruit is unknown. In the Egghead arc, it was revealed that Bartholomew Kuma is her biological father. She was hunting Dr. Vegapunk since he was the one who turned him into a mindless cyborg. Later, she found her father’s memories and forgave Dr. Vegapunk.
3. Origin of the Devil Fruits
Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, said that the origin of the Devil Fruits is known by a particular scientist (Dr. Vegapunk). When he appears, the history will be revealed. In the Egghead arc, Dr. Vegapunk revealed the origin of the Devil Fruits. He said that the fruits are born from a person’s desire. Due to the Devil Fruits being unnatural objects, the sea rejects anyone who consumes them.
2. Saul D. Jaguar Lives
During the annihilation of Ohara, Saul D. Jaguar was supposedly killed by Aokiji. He was Nico Robin’s friend and died while saving her. Aokiji froze him to death. But the Egghead arc will reveal that Saul D. Jaguar is alive and well. He collected several books from Ohara’s library and took them to Elbaf. Dr. Vegapunk went there to research and learn about the world’s history. It was there that he met him.
1. Nefertari Cobra’s Death
The Egghead Arc will show the mystery behind Nefertari Cobra’s death. He wanted to see the Five Elders. He said he belonged to the D Clan during the meeting with the Five Elders. His ancestor, Nefertari D. Lili, was the ruler of Alabasta during the void century and one of the 20 monarchs to build the World Government. But later, she mysteriously vanished, and her brother succeeded her. Then Im Sama appeared.
