After a prolonged wait, The Death of Slim Shady has finally hit the radio, and it’s safe to say that it lives up to fans’ expectations of the potential swansong of Slim Shady. Set to serve as a goodbye to Eminem’s breakout character, the acclaimed rapper hasn’t held back with it, especially with some of the darker songs in the tracklist, such as Antichrist.

It’s not uncommon for the Rap God artist to take digs at viral sensations, whether it be Michael Jackson or Britney Spears back in the day. And with Antichrist, The Marshall Mathers LP artist took shots at Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion’s ugly beef, which hasn’t sat well with everyone.

Despite collaborating on Hot Girl Summer back in 2019, things went awry between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion, as they both started firing back at each other at the beginning of 2024. Eminem, who previously mentioned Stallion in his single Houdini, in which he used a double entendre to reference the Wanna Be rapper’s shooting incident, has now aimed at their beef.

Arguably the darkest song from his new album, which is pretty standard stuff for Slim Shady, the Superman rapper took a shot at Minaj and Stallion’s beef in the verse:

‘Cause I can spit a bar that is a Cross between Nas and GZA, Biggie Smalls, and RZA So hard, Megan Stallion and Nicki Minaj’ll scissor (Cut it out)

But fans of Minaj and Stallion took offense to it, as it has been months since their ugly feud, with some claiming his obsession with the Sweetest Pie rapper is getting out of hand.

However, fans familiar with Slim Shady would be less than surprised, as the rapper has a history of taking shots at industry biggies, irrespective of their status.

Moreover, this is far from the only viral event that the rapper mentioned in Antichrist, as Slim also referenced the infamous slap gate incident at 2022’s Oscars. So it’s safe to say the iconic rapper has nothing personal against Stallion.

Before fans started binging the new release from the greatest rapper alive, the Kamikaze artist made a public service announcement, stressing how fans should approach his 12th studio album. Considering  The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) is a conceptual album, the rapper explained that listening to it out of order might not make sense. He asked fans to listen to it in order, as the context from each track is required to fully grasp the entire thing.

Furthermore, Antichrist considers another reference to Stallion in the latter half of the song, which features Bizarre from D12. The line goes “Where’s Megan Thee Stallion at? I wanna suck that toe”, and before making any judgments, one should at least listen to the whole track to get the context.
