After her remarkable performances at her Las Vegas residency concerts called Play (via The Standard), and performing at King Charles III’s Coronation Concert in a spectacular Metallic Gold Ball Gown (via Cosmopolitan), Perry will be traveling to Brazil.
Not her first time at the Rock in Rio music festival, the Firework singer will be performing on September 20, 2024, on the festival’s Dia Delas Day. She will be the main headliner of the day, having a performance at the main event of the festival — Palco Mundo (via Instagram and O Globo).
The 40th edition of the Rock in Rio festival, Katy Perry previously also participated in the 2011, 2015, and 2018 editions of the event. And ever since the announcement was announced, Perry has been pretty much trending on X worldwide.

Ever since the announcement of Katy Perry’s headlining the popular musical festival emerged, fans of the singer were quick to celebrate. On numerous platforms, including X fans of the Dark Horse have been rejoicing over the announcement especially since the news of reportedly working on a new album was announced.
Last year The Sun, reported that Perry has been working on a more personal album for the last couple of years, which is rumored to be released in April of this year. And if the rumors hold any weight, Perry’s appearance at the Rock in Rio festival means live performances and new songs, which has definitely left fans extremely happy.
