In an interview, the actress sat down for a chat with late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel to talk about her movie. When Kimmel asked her what her favorite birthday was, the actress was prompted to reply that it was her 13th birthday.

Revealing details about her birthday, the story was truly an emotional rollercoaster as the story went from wholesome to just horrible. Talking about teenage stuff her first kiss and how her parents gave her privacy, Emily Blunt recalled that the experience was traumatic for her but not forgetable.

“The one I really remember was my 13th birthday party cause we played spin the bottle. And I remember like there were like 18 kids in the dining room and I put up a sign on the door saying ‘Don’t come in mom’, you know?”

“And she listened! I can’t believe she even like ‘probably had too many kids’ she was like ‘alright, whatever. Just let it go’. No one entered and we played spin the bottle and it was my first kiss!”

As the interview progressed, the actress found herself talking about her first kiss. With a game of Spin the Bottle Gone Bad, Emily Blunt revealed the traumatic time when she had to kiss someone and it was her first kiss!

“And it was my first kiss. No, no, no, it was a horror show. His name is Ashley Clarke. So, I spun the bottle, it landed on Ashley, I thought ‘Oh my god, this is it’. Now I’d heard about the concept of French kissing but I, I though well, that sounds weird. Why would that be pleasurable or nice? And it wasn’t”.

She eventually grew up and learned to love as she happily married her dear husband John Krasinski back in 2010. The couple has been happily married since then and have often been seen being romantic in public.
