According to a Redditor’s pitch, Will Smith could have been another universe’s Tony Stark, going about his life similar to the MCU version of the character. Him being the leader of the Avengers and whatnot. There would then be a slip-up where he grows more and more hungry for power by feeding on his own creations. This would then lead him to merge with JARVIS.
His actions would then give rise to an inevitable war between him and the world. His merging with technology and then fighting against it would create massive black holes which would consume his character and push him into the world of the MCU. This pitch seemed rather concrete and so well put that some might forget how wild it is. While there is no confirmation of the actor joining the franchise, according to some fans, he already has a role waiting for him if he ever wanted to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Fans Troll The Idea Of Will Smith Becoming Superior Iron Man
Any fan who saw this theory found it ideal to mock the pitch and how absurd it sounded. They began trolling them and even making jokes about who the rest of the cast for this project might be.
Some say he is a rather overrated actor and they would rather see anyone else but him. Others joke about his superpower being the ability to slap people mercilessly. His career as an actor seems to slowly be breaking after he slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars. Smith has since then been trying to build it back up but has been unfortunately failing.
