One of the major highlights of Overwatch 2‘s upcoming Season 11 is Ashe’s Calamity Empress skin, which is already being hailed as one of the best things Blizzard has crafted. Despite that, many players feel like the developers could’ve experimented a bit more with the skin.
Overwatch 2 Players Want More Customization For Ashe’s Ally B.O.B

Season 11 of Overwatch 2 is almost upon us. Blizzard has finally revealed that Ashe will be getting a Power Rangers-type skin in the form of Calamity Empress Ashe. The latest Mythic skin is a major part of Overwatch 2‘s Season 11 Ultrawatch theme, which pays tribute to Super Sentai and Kamen Rider.
There’s no doubt that Blizzard has absolutely smashed with Calamity Empress Ashe. The skin is gorgeous and finally does justice to Overwatch 2‘s most popular character. The skin features tons of customizable options, but some players feel Blizzard should’ve shown some love to B.O.B.
If you don’t know already, in Overwatch 2, B.O.B (Big Omnic Butler) is Ashe’s formidable sidekick! B.O.B. plays a major role in her ultimate ability, where he charges forward, pushes enemy forces into the air, and then hammers everyone with his arm cannons. This omnic is a loyal ally and bodyguard and complements Ashe’s shooting abilities with firepower and brute strength.
Due to his importance for Ashe, many expected that Blizzard would give players tons of customization options for B.O.B. However, it seems like B.O.B. will keep the same design, and simply take on the color scheme Ashe is switching to.
Although it’s quite sad to see B.O.B. not getting enough customization options, we can’t ignore the fact that Ashe has been given 24 variants. It’s arguably one of the best Mythic skins we’ve seen in a while, and players should appreciate Blizzard’s efforts. It’s already confirmed that we’re going to see more Mythic skins in the upcoming Season, so there’s a chance that Blizzard might allow more customizability for B.O.B.
