Though nothing comes from the studio or the actor himself, new fan art is surfacing online where Andrew Garfield can be seen as the one who will fight Bruce in The Batman Part II. The Batman Part II, which is being referred to as an “Elseworlds” storyline, is very much in the development stages. Fans of the original movie are thrilled to hear about the movie, but we now have to wait two more years for Robert Pattinson to reprise his Bruce Wayne role.

The Batman previously left the door open for Two-Face to possibly show up in the follow-up. The Riddler provided fans with puzzles to solve a special tie-in website for the film, and a Two-Face reference was hidden among the solutions. Though this can’t be a confirmation, fans are convinced that the character will appear. Robert Pattinson is surely coming back, however.

Filming on The Batman Part II Delayed Due to Writers’ Strike

In addition to directing the movie, Reeves and Mattson Tomlin, who were both heavily involved in the strike, will write it. Fortunately, the movie’s release window is all the way in October 2025, so it might be able to avoid being late.

The Batman Part II is expected to pick up where the first film left off, with Gotham having nearly been destroyed due to a flood caused by the Riddler.

The Batman – Part II is scheduled to hit theaters on October 3, 2025.
