Kohei Horikoshi has known them for a long time. During the fifth anniversary of My Hero Academia, Gege Akutami was one of the mangaka who congratulated him on his success. They also mentioned that they want to be like him. But there was a rumor that the Horikoshi was mimicking Akutami. Apart from that, both of them have drawn each other’s characters. The Jujutsu Kaisen creator had drawn a bunch of My Hero Academia’s Pro-Heroes for the manga’s 23rd volume.
