How Long Has the Hulk Been Smashing the MCU?

The character of Hulk was introduced in 2008 with the movie, The Incredible Hulk, starring Edward Norton in the lead. After this, we have introduced to Mark Ruffalo as Hulk in the 2012 Avengers

Ruffalo has been portraying the character ever since and has appeared in many movies alongside his fellow Avengers. However, even after so long, Hulk did not get a solo project so far. Now with the release of this poster fans have hopes that Marvel will be planning a Hulk project.

With his past being clear, the series may set up Hulk’s future with Avengers throughout the rest of the Infinity Saga, with playing a key role in a journey towards Avengers: Secret War.

With the release of this poster, Marvel has made sure that Hulk still has a lot to do in the MCU. These may include his follow-up projects like Planet Hulk or World War Hulk

Planet Hulk and World War Hulk

Considering Thor: Ragnarok, which followed most of the events of Planet Hulk for the character, future movies or shows may follow up Hulk on Sakaar. In the comics, Hulk takes over Sakaar by defeating the Red King and later goes against Illuminati after his wife and many people die because of them.

This leads to World War Hulk, where Hulk goes against Illuminati and other superheroes. As in the first episode of She-Hulk, a Sakaarian ship is seen in front of Banner and Walters’ car, which causes the accident.

Later in the episode Banner uses Jennifer’s blood to heal his injured arm. When Jennifer asks him, “Did we hit a spaceship?” Hulk replies that it was a Sakaarian ship, and they are probably trying to deliver a message to him.

During the events of Planet Hulk, Hulk lands on Sakaar and is captured by the Red King. Later he breaks out of his captivation. People of Sakaarina start rooting for him and Hulk ends up defeating the Red King and starts ruling the planet.

He also falls in love with Caiera and has a son with her, Skaar. Hulk most probably is not aware of it and later Skaar comes to Earth for an encounter with his father, Hulk.

Will there be a Solo Hulk Project?

Most of this was already covered in Thor: Ragnarok. According to many theories, it is Skaar who came to Earth to take his father back to Sakaar on that ship. Hulk says he has to get to the bottom of that, depicting a plot following the Sakaar.

Theories also believe that by the end of She-Hulk, Hulk may leave with whoever is on the ship for planet Sakaar. The actor playing Bruce Banner and Hulk has also said that he is eagerly waiting for a call from the studio, but no updates have been made by now.

There can be so much that can be speculated when it comes to MCU. But as it happened in the past, Marvel may not follow up the exact story as comics for future Hulk movies. So it will be exciting to see what Marvel has in store for Hulk, and the fans waiting for a Hulk movie.
